There were 23 people who took our survey. Of those 23, 15 were females and 8 were males. The ages differed but the most prominent group was 20 year olds. We asked how often people shopped online and we received that 2 do it everyday, 2 a few times a week, 2 once a week, 2 a few times a week, 4 a few times a month, 11 once a month, and 2 never responses. Our next question asked, on average, what the order total when one shops online in one sitting is. The numbers differed but we calculated the average, which was $55. 7 participants visit online shopping sites once a day and 7 participants visit online shopping sites twice a day. Most DePaul students buy items at physical stores a few times a week and buy books and clothes online once a month. They spend between $0 and $40 when they shop at physical stores. 11 people who took the survey prefer to shop at Amazon, and 4 at Ebay and 4 at Groupon. 20/23 (~87 %) of them shop online without buying anything. Clothes are the most popular item to buy online, while books are always bought online. Our freeform questions revealed that DePaul students shop online because it is convenient, not because of the prices. Our external chart from http://www.jonathancrossfield.com supports this idea by concluding more people shop online because of free shipping instead of price. Blank responses are due to the questions not becoming available until later. A few questions were added after a few people already took our pilot survey.
