Chart No. 4 From the results above, we can see that 60.61% of DePaul students that have an Instagram tend to follow and interact with their family and friends rather than celebrities, athletes and bands/companies. We assumed that they were more likely to interact with their friends and family because social media is an easy way to connect with a large population. Since, our participants were DePaul University students then social media is a great way to connect with other students as well as friends and family from back home.
Chart No. 5 The results show that over half of DePaul students (52.78%) choose to edit and enhance their photos with Instagram. We assumed that almost all of DePaul students would choose to edit their photos with Instagram because of the apps popularity and convenience.

The camera on a smart phone is usually very well crafted therefore the majority of DePaul students would use their phone to take pictures.
Chart No. 8 From the results above, we can see that most students use their cellphone to enhance photos (58.33%) rather than a computer (27.78%). We assumed that there would be a bigger gap than this because, nowadays, people use apps to do a lot of their work. This is because an app is more accessibile than a computer.
