Application Support Analyst

As an Application Support Analyst, I am responsible for providing 24 x 7 coverage, performing troubleshooting, providing trouble ticket updates, escalation, resolution and reporting of incidents for our production environments. Technology Engineer

As the Technology Engineer I maintained network and desktop functionality. On a daily basis, I troubleshot and implemented updates to ensure continual stability to the current Mac OS X operating system. Configuring routers and troubleshooting connectivity issues for Windows and Mac operating systems were part of my daily functions. I adhered to company requirements on email and file server records for each individual. I used Retrospect and Retrospect Client after quickly learning the software. Began to schedule, maintain, issue and edit backup documentation and scripts for the main file, email, and 4D servers as well as individual desktops; daily, weekly and monthly backups to high capacity media tapes for offsite storage. Analyzing desktop resources and reformating hard drives to install operating systems and applications for end user operation. Within the organization I offered technical support for Mac OS X operating systems, as well as, Windows XP for the tenants of our floor. In other instances I have coordinated with a consultant to resolve excessive spam issues and constrict security concerns for our email and file servers by implementing distinct and difficult passwords and firewalls. As preventative measures, I oversaw the maintenance of copiers, printers, postage machines, office lighting and coordinated service calls for any troubleshooting.
